If you plan to collect personally identifiable information (PII) data on your website, you will need to have a privacy policy, terms and conditions, and/or cookies policies in place to protect your business. If you have a lawyer draft your policies, Great! You can skip this step. However, if you are needing a policy, look no further. Termageddon is an auto-updating policy.
PII is anything that can identify an individual. A few examples are name, email, address, phone number, credit card numbers, CVV, ISP, etc. If you plan to use Google Analytics, you also need one because Google Analytics tracks certain data in order to give you an overview of customer usage.
